Frequently Asked Questions
What is BidScout?
BidScout is a subscription-based service that notifies you of public sector bids and RFPs that are let in your Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
How much does BidScout cost?
Bidscout is only $9.95 per month!. That is a great price for a great service that works for you all week, every week. The risk of missing an important project carries a much higher cost. We will bill you monthly on a recurring basis until you chose to cancel your subscription. Not long term contracts or commitment.
After you subscribe, you will get a welcome email confirming your subscription. You will also be sent the most recent BidScout report. Whenever your MSA has bid activity, you will receive an email directing you to the BidScout site. Simply log in and see your BidScout report in PDF format. You can view, save and print that report.
I am a subcontractor. Does BidScout help me?
Yes, winning companies can update the bid with request for subcontractors. Those bids are marked as “subcontracting” for you to review and to bid on.
Do I get the same bids emailed to me every day?
No. BidScout only emails you when there is a new bid, an update to a bid, a cancellation or an award notice in your MSA area.
What if I do not have time to look through all of these bid opportunities?
BidScout helps save you time and resources by delivering useful bid information as it is available. BidScout categorizes your opportunities for quick reading and links them to the detailed information. By just scanning the first page of the BidScout report you will know if a bid is right for you.
